FIrst day of classes ( the reprise)

So yesterday I actually started college. I had my classes and to be quite frank I was intimidated. The just entire difference from the ways of high school astounded me. But I know I can handle it.

I have been very busy after move in and feel bad that i have been away not talking or posting, but with homework and all the new people, life is a little crazy. I still have time for a few things now and again, so if you need to talk please comment on something and I will get back too you. Or if you are one of those people who has my number (JACK) text me cause I will always answer you.

Well off to shower and breakfast before History 100 and Math 108.
Peace and Love

  1. You'll get used to it in no time. Just pay attention to what the profs say the requirements are.

    Good luck.

  2. Hi there, Brad

Thanks for posting - it's good to hear from you. Please don't feel bad about not posting: you've had much more important things to deal with. Your blog is supposed to be for your benefit and enjoyment: post when you have something you want or need to say, to get it out of your system, or for our feedback, or just because you feel like it.

I do still remember (just about!) the change in pace between school and university - something of a shock to the system at first, but I got used to it quite quickly, and I'm sure you will too. I guess it might be worse at an American university than a British or European one, given the very wide range of subjects you start off studying. Degree courses over here are much more specialised, even from the start.

    Take care

  3. I remember the whole "transition" to college...wow...100% on my own, even though I was living at home, I almost never saw my parents or siblings due to my work and school schedule! You'll do fine, you're already off to the right start: getting up and getting going - here's a hint: whenever you feel like sleeping in and cutting class, think how much tuition costs, then divide that by the number of hours you are in class for a semester, and that's how much per hour you are flushing down the toilet!

I know you can handle it, no doubt in my mind. I'd be more worried if you were online 16 hours a day chatting with us!

Make them grades, make new friends, you're off on an adventure!

    Peace <3
    Jay
